Radon & Indoor Air Quality Measurement

You cannot smell it, see it, or taste it. You can measure it.

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in Canadians who have never smoked. Atmosphere Diagnostics provides C-NRPP certified measurement and documented reporting across Greater Hamilton, the Niagara Region, and Toronto.

Commercial and industrial testing

Ontario employers have a duty under the Occupational Health and Safety Act to protect workers from airborne hazards. We test at the scale that obligation requires.

Institutional

Hospitals, schools, long-term care

Multi-point placement across occupied lower levels, with floor-plan mapped results and a summary a facilities committee can act on.

Industrial

Warehouses and plants

Below-grade and slab-on-grade work areas, mechanical rooms, and pits — the spaces where levels concentrate and workers spend full shifts.

Portfolio

Multi-tenant and commercial buildings

Unit-by-unit measurement for property managers and REITs, with insurance-ready reporting and per-suite records for tenant disclosure.

5-Year Recertification Program

Health Canada and C-NRPP recommend retesting every five years, or sooner after renovations, foundation work, or changes to ventilation. Enrolled properties are tracked on our schedule and contacted when the interval comes due — and receive 20% off the recertification test.

Expanding across Canada

Atmosphere Diagnostics is growing from its Ontario base into a national measurement network. Today we serve Greater Hamilton, the Niagara Region and Toronto; the cities marked below are next.

Every location will operate on the same footing: C-NRPP certified measurement, independent of mitigation sales, with reporting written to stand up in a real estate file, an employer file or an insurance file.

Property managers and employers with sites in more than one province can talk to us now about portfolio testing as locations come online.

About Atmosphere Diagnostics

Atmosphere Diagnostics is a C-NRPP certified radon measurement and indoor air quality practice based in Stoney Creek, Ontario. We measure. We do not sell mitigation systems, which means the number in your report is not attached to a quote for the work that follows it.

That independence matters most in the two situations where our reports are used hardest: a real estate transaction where both sides need a result they can rely on, and an employer file where a measurement has to stand up to a Ministry of Labour inspector or an insurance underwriter.

Every report is written to be read by someone who is not an air quality professional, and to hold up when it is read by someone who is.
